Hi, I’m Laura Massari Oris, welcome to Lala’s Portraits!

I create high quality custom portraits of your pets or loved ones in acrylic paint from your photographs. Simply send me a photo of who or what you want painted and I’ll create a personal painting for you that you can treasure always A custom portrait also makes a wonderful gift for a birthday, anniversary or holiday.

I’ve been an animal lover my whole life, and especially dogs, so pet portraits is where I started this journey. It is very fulfilling and I put my heart into each piece that I work on.

Soon after painting pets, I was asked to paint human subjects, often with their pet, and so that is now something I offer as well.

I've been painting on and off throughout my life but the past few years my artwork has become such an important element in my life and I’m so grateful that it has blossomed into a successful business as well. I’ve had the honor of painting pet portraits for several celebrities, charities, and one of my portraits was even featured nationally on Fox News.

My goal is to capture the essence of my subjects, be it an animal or a human, through the eyes. That’s really where you can see personality & I’ve been told countless times that I am able to capture that, especially when I’m given a really good reference photo for a portrait.
